Terms of Service
Last updated 17 September 2026
These terms govern your use of RecruitHelper, provided by Hamid Soheili, doing business as Soheili Labs. By subscribing to or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
The service
RecruitHelper gives a recruiting organization a private workspace to build reusable screening questions, invite candidates by private link, review responses, and track a hiring pipeline. We may improve and change the service over time. If we remove a material feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
Accounts
The person who completes checkout becomes the owner of the organization workspace and can invite teammates and assign roles. You are responsible for keeping sign-in credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your organization's accounts. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Subscription and billing
- The Founding Plan is $49 per month for one organization workspace, billed in advance. Sales tax is added where it applies, so the amount charged may be more than $49. The total is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your subscription. Stripe is the seller for the transaction, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any sales tax that applies. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- The subscription renews automatically each month.
- You can cancel at any time from Company Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and your workspace remains available through the end of the period you have paid for.
- Fees are charged in advance and are not refunded for time already used; cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period.
- You can ask us for a refund, and because Stripe is the merchant of record you can also raise a refund request with Stripe directly. Stripe reviews those requests and may refund an eligible charge. We will refund a charge that we agree was made in error, and we will honour any refund required by law.
- If we change the price we will give at least 30 days' notice before it applies to your renewal.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, we may suspend access to the workspace.
Your data and your responsibilities as a recruiter
You own the content you put into RecruitHelper, including your screening questions, candidate records, and notes. We process candidate personal data on your behalf and on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy and governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You remain the controller of that data, which means you are responsible for:
- having a lawful basis to collect and process each candidate's personal data;
- telling candidates who you are and how you will use their responses;
- asking only screening questions that are lawful and relevant to the role, and complying with employment, equal-opportunity, and anti-discrimination law wherever you recruit;
- responding to candidates who ask to access, correct, or delete their data; and
- deleting candidate data when you no longer have a reason to keep it.
RecruitHelper structures a screening workflow. It does not score, rank, or automatically reject candidates, and it does not make hiring decisions. Evaluation and every employment decision remain yours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or discriminatory;
- collect sensitive personal data through screening questions without a lawful basis for doing so;
- send unsolicited bulk messages or use candidate links for anything other than genuine recruiting;
- attempt to access another organization's data, probe or disrupt the service, or circumvent its limits; or
- upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
We may suspend a workspace that we reasonably believe is breaching these rules, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep RecruitHelper available and take daily backups, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on this plan. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Cancellation, closure, and deletion
You can export your organization's data and close your workspace from Company Settings. After closure we retain the workspace data for 30 days so that the closure can be reversed, then delete it. Export anything you need before that period ends. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that fails to pay.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
